Who we are

Survive and Thrive is an independent, non-profit support group for people with ME, Fibromyalgia, and other Post-Viral Fatigue Syndromes, based in the High Peak. Our website address is surviveandthrivesupportgroup.com.

We are not a registered company or charity. We are a volunteer-run community group. Any questions about this policy or your personal data can be sent to us via the Contact Us page.

What information we collect

We only collect information you provide to us voluntarily through our contact form or chat widget:

  • Your email address (required — so we can reply)
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • The content of your message

We do not collect any other personal information automatically. We do not use analytics services, tracking pixels, or advertising networks.

How we use your information

Information submitted through our contact forms is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not share it with any third parties, add you to mailing lists, or use it for any marketing purpose.

Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)

We process your contact details on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — specifically, to be able to respond to enquiries sent to us directly by you.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry emails are retained only for as long as needed to handle your query, after which they are deleted. We do not maintain a separate database of enquiry data.

Cookies

Our website does not use tracking or analytics cookies. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our contact forms to prevent spam. Turnstile may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies required for security verification. No personal data is stored in these cookies and they are not used for advertising.

Third-party services

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process request metadata (such as IP addresses) as part of providing hosting and security services.
